Job Title:                    Customer Service / Help Desk Support Assistant

Salary:                        up to £20,000 per annum

 

Responsible to:        Customer Services Manager

 

About the Company

Prophet plc is the market leading author and distributor of Pr2 software into the fresh produce industry. We have approximately 45 personnel in offices in the UK and South Africa, and support clients in the UK, South Africa, Ireland and America.

 

Job Purpose:

The postholder will assist in the provision of service to Prophet plc’s client base and support to the Customer Service Manager. Working as part of a team the postholder will administer the in-house support system, offering query support by telephone to the clients, be expected to provide training for new clients and occasional site visits for training and or live running help. This new position will also incorporate second level account management.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1.            To deal with incoming telephone calls

2.            To maintain the Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards

3.            To administer and regulate the logging of calls

4.            Active problem solving

5.            To assist with in-house training courses

6.            Second level account management (desk based and site visits)

7.            In house testing / QC

 

Person Specification

1.            Have good interpersonal skills

2.            Possess a good understanding of Microsoft Office

3.            Need to have a firm but receptive personality

4.            Able to act on own initiative

5.            Have some knowledge of distribution processes
